Tyler Cameron thought he was going to be eliminated on “DWTS”: ‘I was feeling the pain’

Tyler Cameron thought his time on Dancing With the Stars was over.
The Bachelor Nation star tells Entertainment Weekly that he was "already feeling the pain" of having to leave the show during last night's broadcast.
Instead, Taylor Hanson and Britt Stewart were eliminated from the competition.
Tyler Cameron was sure he was leaving the ballroom on Dancing With the Stars last night.
The Bachelor Nation star, 33, told Entertainment Weekly that he'd already begun mourning his time on the reality dance competition before it was shockingly revealed that Taylor Hanson and Britt Stewart had been eliminated.
"I mean, [it's] just sad to see anyone go," Cameron said of Hanson and Stewart's exit. "I think as we get more into this, it's gonna get harder and harder and harder. Honestly, it was a night that I thought I was going, so I was feeling the pain already, and so I know a smidge of the pain they're feeling."
The Going Home With Tyler Cameron star went on to share his wishes for the pair moving forward.
"I just hope Taylor can walk away from this proud," he said. "And Britt is just incredible. The way she has worked with him, and she's just such a bubble to be around, and I just wish… Britt's gonna come back so strong."
Cameron's pro partner, Sharna Burgess , also had only positive things to say about their competitors.
"For me, I just, in knowing Britt and loving Britt, I just wanna see her do a freestyle," she added. "I just wanna see Britt next season get what our fans call a ringer, and we see her get to the end so we can have a Britt freestyle."
She continued, "It is time. That woman is so talented. She is so deserving, and we all know it, and she did such a phenomenal job with Taylor. And for whatever reason, they didn't go through, but it's not on her. She did a spectacular job."

Last night, Hanson, 43, and 37-year-old Stewart danced a foxtrot to the tune of The Doobie Brothers' "What a Fool Believes." The performance scored high with the judges — earning a whopping 18 points — which made it even more shocking when they were sent home later that evening.
Cameron and Burgess, meanwhile, performed the jive to Orleans' "Still the One." They scored a total of 17, one point less with the judges than Hanson and Stewart.
The remaining contestants will return to the ballroom next Tuesday, where they are set to perform to Mariah Carey's songbook as part of Mariah Carey Night.
Dancing With the Stars airs weekdays on ABC and streams on Disney+.
