the first 30 minutes of the match was incredibly fun, but it took away kouame’s legs :( too bad moise was struggling a lot physically, but he showed some serious potential and i will be tuning in for him at the next gen finals!
also this match was a classic musetti experience with full of both what was that lorenzo 🤩 and what was that lorenzo anyway, two wins in a row!! LFG (lorenzo forza good)

Do you think the crowd wanted Kouame to win?

Seeing this match, makes me appreciate Alcaraz and Sinner even more. As far as I know they have never done anything that could be called gamemanship or unsportsmanlike behavior, even as juniors.
Now take a look at Kouamé, I get you are playing in front of your homecrowd in your biggest match of your career, but that was just too much.
Even the commentators were not sure, if this vitals check DURING a game was allowed.
Just another "prodigy" like Jodar that I will not be a fan of.

Alcaraz changed his shoes during Beijing final tiebreak vs Jannik to throw him off

Young kids playing dirty...smh

The kid played Roland Garros but other than that I sort of agree. But then allowance as must be made for his young age

This has got to be the slowest indoor HC on tour.

lots of fun points, good win for musetti who held serve much easier but had to battle a hostile crowd and repeated interruptions from kouame
kouame is an incredible athlete but he needs to find more offensive solutions to winning points

Kouame looks like another Coric to me. Athletic but lacks finishing power.

"I am going to win 25 GS" perfomance

He has 17 years. Give him the time. We have already seen very rapid rises in this sport.

"Keep your expectation low and you will never be disappointed"

Virtually everyone entered this sport with big ambitions. You think Sinner and Alcaraz never said anything like that at 17? Because they did.

They didn’t. Even now they’re not saying stuff like that.

At 16, Sinner said he wanted to be #1 and win as many Grand Slams as possible. He hadn't won a Challenger yet and was still losing to unranked players. Those two had a history before their first Grand Slam and became famous. Now they don't say it anymore because they are adults, with a different focus on them and a different public image.

If we are going to have next "big 3" or "big 4" with Kouame included, it would be totally cool
